Did somebody say PIE?!!!
Hear “DD,” and the first business that probably comes to mind is Dunkin’ Donuts. But for Anne Arundel County residents in the know, it stands for Dangerously Delicious – a first-class purveyor of, you guessed it, pies that are so damn delicious they’re dangerous.
With this ample alliteration in mind and the holidays upon us, we sat down with Chris Miller, owner of Dangerously Delicious Pies Annapolis – an awesome ArundelBiz that offers diverse sweet and savory pies, quiches, coffee, and more – for the first of three special holiday-themed episodes that will close out 2021.
We discuss why Chris went from being a concert promoter to a “pie guy,” how he dealt with signing a lease just before and opening the business in the middle of COVID-19, and what makes DD’s pies so palate-pleasing and popular.
Plus, Chris offers his top tips for those starting a new small business and, relying on his concert promoter past, his top five bands to see live.
So bon appetit – we know you’ll wish you had both Smell-A-Vision AND Taste-A-Vision for this one!
