WHAT:   The Arundel Business Loan (ABL) Fund, a service of the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation(AAEDC), has approved and funded a $48,000 loan for Tuscan Kitchen/Annapolis Caterers, LLC.  The ABL Fund offers SBA guaranteed loans of up to $300,000 to borrowers doing business in Anne Arundel County.

 

Tuscan Kitchen owner Michael Cardarelli also received help from the AAEDC Small Business Resource Center in fine tuning his business plan and other counseling in preparation for opening his business.

 

WHO: Tuscan Kitchen, a new take-out restaurant, is opening Sunday, April 1.  Mr. Cardarelli will offer Northern Italian style pasta dishes, flat bread pizzas, panini sandwiches, and assorted salads and soups.  He will operate Annapolis Caterers from within Tuscan Kitchen beginning in June.  Annapolis Caterers will offer full service catering for parties, weddings, and private, in-home dining.  Mr. Cardarelli has 32 years of experience in the hospitality business, most recently with Phillip’s Annapolis Harbor in Annapolis.
