County Executive Offers One Week of Half Priced Greens Fees
Annapolis, MD (July 20, 2005) - In celebration of the official grand opening and completion of Compass Pointe Golf Course in Pasadena, Anne Arundel County Executive Janet S. Owens has directed the greens fees be cut in half for County residents from August 8-11. The four days of discounted golf will also include a complimentary hot dog and soft drink for golfers after the ninth hole.
"I want our citizens to come out and see this wonderful county recreational resource for themselves," Ms. Owens said. "Along with Eisenhower Golf Course, Anne Arundel County now has two of the best public courses in the State."
"The completion of the full 36 holes is an exciting milestone," said Tony Cianci, Billy Casper Golf Regional Vice President. "It's all about affordable championship golf at Compass Pointe and we are pleased to celebrate by offering this special half off rate to Anne Arundel County residents.
From the Washington Times, "Put a competition-crushing price tag ($55-65) on the uniformly superb product and you've got a guaranteed recipe for success at Compass Pointe."
Billy Casper Golf manages Eisenhower and Compass Pointe Golf Courses and encourages golfers sign up for a Free Maryland Rewards Card. This card offers golf specials, food and beverage specials and discounts on golf shop merchandise throughout the year. Specials will change weekly and the cards can we used at both courses.
