(PASADENA, Maryland) -- Billy Casper Golf (BCG) and Compass Pointe Golf Courses today announce half-price green fees for Anne Arundel County residents Monday, August 8 - Thursday, August 11 to celebrate the opening of the new East nine holes and completion of the full 36-hole facility.
Designed by award-winning architect Lindsay Ervin of Crofton, Maryland in Anne Arundel County, the two courses at Compass Pointe boast distinct layout styles. The South/West course is a classic parkland style course with tree-lined holes, streams, ponds and high native grasses. The more open North/East pairing has a links feel with undulating fairways, elevation changes, grass bunkers and collection areas.
The combination of courses and their diverse design elements ensures golfers unique experiences each time they tee it up at Compass Pointe.

Already one of the best values in the Mid-Atlantic region, Compass Pointe's celebration rates for County residents will range from $17.50 for twilight tee times to $27.50 for rounds starting before 1 p.m. The course is also offering a complimentary hot dog and soft drink to golfers between their front and back nines during those days.
Golfers can also register for a free Maryland Golf Rewards Card for additional savings at Compass Pointe, as well as Eisenhower Golf Course in Crownsville or Calvert County's Chesapeake Hills Golf Club. The card is available at www.compasspointegolf.com or through the golf shop. A variety of reduced rates, discounts on golf shop merchandise and food and beverage specials are offered to cardholders throughout the year.
The completion of the full 36-holes also includes two new all-weather pavilions, making Compass ideal for golf outings and events. The flexibility of having two courses to host tournaments seven days a week allows Compass Pointe to accommodate groups of up to 288 players.
