ANNAPOLIS, MD (June 11, 2009) - - -Over the next three weeks, three Anne Arundel County farmers markets will open, bringing the total County markets to seven. Farmers markets in Anne Arundel County are producer only markets that feature fresh, locally grown, raised, and harvested products. Purchased items are not sold.

Anne Arundel County’s newest farmers’ market is scheduled to open next week. The market will provide employees of DNR and the surrounding state agencies, as well as the general public, the opportunity to purchase fresh locally raised beef, pork, chicken, eggs, produce, fruit, herbal products and baked goods.
The Centre at Glen Burnie

The Glen Burnie Farmers’ market is scheduled to open for its 3rd season at the Centre at Glen Burnie. This year the market will feature several local produce vendors as well as some new vendors featuring baked goods, herbs, flowers and beef.
Deale

The Deale Farmers’ Market will celebrate its’ 9th season this year. It will provide South County residents with fresh locally raised beef, produce, fruits, baked goods, and jams.
