The Dolben Company Holds Ground Breaking Ceremony in Odenton
ODENTON, MD (September 19, 2008) - - - The Dolben Company, a leader in multi-family housing developments, with offices in Massachusetts and Maryland and over 10,000 residential units throughout the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions, is breaking ground on a 400,000 square foot, mixed-mixed use, transit oriented development in Odenton, Maryland. The ground breaking ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 9:30 am, at the corner of Morgan Road and Duckens Street, opposite the Odenton MARC Rail Station. The Village at Odenton Station, comprised of 235 luxury apartments and 60,000 square feet of commercial retail space, will mark the beginning of construction in Odenton Town Center.
"The Village at Odenton Station will provide West County with an attractive location immediate to the MARC Train Station," said Anne Arundel County Executive John R. Leopold. "This mixed-use development is the first of several projects planned to address the demand for convenience combined with residential, commercial, and retail space in the Fort Meade community."
Maryland's Lieutenant Governor Anthony G. Brown, will be among a host of state and county VIP's, together with Andrew K. Dolben and Dana Pope, principals of the Dolben Company, to turn soil.
