ARGO SYSTEMS, LLC ANNOUNCES OFFICE RELOCATION AND EXPANSION
Selects COPT building in Anne Arundel County, Maryland for Headquarters
Glen Burnie, MD (1 December 2010) –ARGO Systems, LLC, announces the relocation and expansion of the corporate headquarters in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Previously in Glen Burnie, MD, ARGO will now manage all corporate operations in Hanover, Maryland in a new office space owned and designed by Corporate Office Property Trust. The move will take place during the first quarter of 2011 to accommodate the company’s ongoing growth and expansion. ARGO will be strategically located in closer proximity to customers and alliance partners.
“We are very excited about this relocation and expansion of ARGO’s headquarters to a state-of-the-art facility much larger than the size of our current space,” said Jeff Johnson, ARGO’s Chief Operating Officer. “This move reinforces our commitment to supporting our customers and our strategic partners.”
ARGO opted to lease the space at 1362 Mellon Road, Suite 100 in Hanover, due to its various amenities, the overall efficiency and the central location of the office. The move to larger space better accommodates ARGO’s recent growth providing mission critical services such as: construction, cyber infrastructure, engineering, and program management for multiple government agencies.
“Anne Arundel County’s strong DOD presence creates the perfect advantage for companies like ARGO to be successful,” said Robert Hannon, president and CEO of the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation. “ARGO’s expansion is good news for the County’s economy and shows a wonderful commitment to Anne Arundel County’s business community.”
