  • Market and develop Anne Arundel County Farmers’ Markets
  • Encourage restaurants/caterers to support our farms and buy local
  • Assist farmers in their transition from tobacco to more diversified crops.  Work to establish niche markets with new agricultural products and uses. 
  • Locate grant funds and assist farmers in grant preparation
  • Promote the profitability of the agricultural industry
  • Educate on the importance of agriculture to the County’s economic vitality and diversity
