Mission Statement
The AAEDC mission is to serve business needs and to increase Anne Arundel County’s economic base through job growth and investment.
To accomplish its mission, AAEDC will:
- Recruit new businesses to locate in Anne Arundel County
- Assist existing businesses with expansions
- Support workforce development through training grants
- Provide business advocacy for Anne Arundel County businesses during regulatory and approval process
- Provide loans to Anne Arundel County small businesses through the Arundel Business Loan Fund
- Incentivize redevelopment through the Business Corridor Investment Loan Program
- Promote technology development through Anne Arundel County’s technology incubator, the Chesapeake Innovation Center
- Attract new technology for the Anne Arundel County federal defense community through the Chesapeake Innovation Center’s TechBridge Program.
